AED - Automated External Defibrillator
The class builds on the skills learned in the CPR class and teaches proper AED use. This life saving device can increase a patient's chance of survival from a cardiac arrest by fifty percent. During this class you'll learn how to deploy and use an AED in an emergency situation.
Prerequisite: This class must be taken along with the CPR class.

All lay rescuers, teachers, personal trainers, fitness instructors, employees in the workplace, day care workers, babysitters, airline personnel, security guards, bus drivers, new parents, camp counselors, coaches, and those who may need to respond to an emergency.
