Simulation Learning (CPR / AED / First Aid)
This American Red Cross class will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults/pediatrics and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. The online portion of this class features award-winning simulation learning - an interactive experience where you will respond to real-world emergencies in a virtual setting - which will prepare you for the instructor-led classroom skill session. AED training is part of this class.
System Requirements:
- A computer or tablet with a high-speed connection
- Desktop - Microsoft Windows XP/7/8, OS X Snow Leopard 10.6+
- Tablet - iPad iOS 7+ (Safari), Android 4.0.3+ (Google Chrome)
- Browsers - IE10+, Chrome 19+, Firefox 27+, Safari 6+
- (This class is not supported on smartphone devices)
Online Time: 25 minutes to 2 hour 30 minutes (depending on the class and your previous training knowledge)
Classroom Prerequisite: The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion.
Classroom Time: 30 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes (depending on the class)
Certificate: 2 years (valid hands-on class)

All lay rescuers, teachers, fitness instructors, employees in the workplace, day care workers, respite workers, airline personnel, security guards, bus drivers, childcare care workers, babysitters, nannies, new parents, parents who are adopting, foster parents, camp counselors, coaches, and those who may need to respond to an emergency.
